Chimney Sweeping
Our chimney sweeps have undertaken full training at “The Chimney Sweep Academy” a independent chimney sweeping association.
All our chimney sweeps are fully insured and can will provide a insurance approved certificate following completion of the works.
Firecraft West London offer both commercial and residential services.
We make sure to use the latest and highest quality equipment to make sure all sweeps are done to the highest of standards.
All of the fireplace is sealed around using protective equipment prior to sweeping to make sure the area beyond the fireplace is kept as clean as possible while sweeping is taking place.
A general sweep includes the following
- Visual check of chimney & cowl
- Checking of appliance
- Fireplace covered with protective sheeting and sealed
- Manual brush or power sweeping of chimney
- Smoke evacuation test (Smoke test 2)
- Issue of sweeping certificate
- Following the work being completed we will advise on any recommendations
On average, to sweep each chimney will take 1 hour to perform, this includes set-up, sweeping & removal of equipment.
CCTV services are also available at additional cost
How often should my chimney be swept? – At least once a year for seasonal use, at least twice a year for regular use.

Sweep & CCTV inspection £144
(Recommended if installing a new liner, fire, stove or suspected blockage)
Bird nest removal £96
(up-to 45 mins, £20 each 15 mins after)
